Sunset at OneTrueMedia.com

We all went over to watch the sunset yesterday.
Well, I went to watch the sunset,
the children and Nick played ball.

I've always loved the beach sky at sunset.
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Ps 8:1

I will praise thee, O Lord with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Ps 9:1

It's amazing to me how the sun sinks so quickly from sight.

  1. Wow, amazing pictures of an amazing God's creation!
    The picture of Silas' name written in the sand made me want to sob... That's what his life did; it wrote it's name on your heart, never to be swept away with the tide of time.

  2. Very pretty. The picture of you and Nick is precious too...as well as the writing in the sand. Thank the Lord for His goodness, mercy and grace.

  3. That sand is really white looking, beautiful! I am glad you all are there, your in the midst of His creation. Through all this grieving process, the place that is most peaceful is when my mind and heart is upon His Person, His character, His works and what better place where you are to meditate upon our Great Jehovah. Its a long journey, do not get frustrated at yourself and let yourself grieve. The words I write now could not have been my words in that first year, but now as the Holy Spirit has worked, comforted and gently brought me to the places in my heart I can now praise him with a heart that really means it and I can say thank you to him for it all. He will carry yu and lead you, just follow!

    Praying for you daily......

  4. Silas' name in the sand... I can't put into words how painfully beautiful it was to see. Especially in light of the gorgeous sunset that you were able to behold with your family.

    Still praying for you and your family.
