Prayer Request Silas is in the Hospital !!

I am acting like Aaron Maynard my buddy!! Below my Daddy and I have fun at the Chiropractor

Urgent Prayer Request !!

Please pray Silas was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital, in Panama City tonight. Silas has been running a fever off and on over the last week and a half. The Doctor's are testing Silas for a Bacterial and/or viral infection in his I.V. port. They are thinking that Silas could be in the hospital 2-4 days. We are praying that the Doctor's can find out why this fever has been reoccurring and cure it, as the fever is hindering his treatments for the Neuroblastoma. If there is a problem the Doctor's will try and rid his I.V. of whatever is there, and if that is not possible, they will remove and replace his port as soon as he is better.

Silas Sunday Naps

On Sunday's Silas doesn't think he is supposed to take a nap.
So, every Sunday when I put him to bed, I find him at the end of his bed.
He sits in front of his "Preacher Bear", and leans on him.
He thinks, surely this will keep me up!
But it isn't long before he's down,
and then OUT!!

For those of you that don't know how Preacher Bear came about.
When Silas got sick and was still here in town,
Bro. Buddy (our preacher), met me at the hospital.
Mrs. Chris (our preacher's wife) came, with Preacher Bear.
Silas and I were headed down the hall to get the CT scan that would change our lives forever!
We took the bear with us, and it went with Silas to every scan afterwards too.
Poor bear probably ought to glow in the dark!!

I just have to brag on my Saviour a bit.
We've had a long road since that first scan,
and I know we're nowhere near the end.
But it sure is good to have my Lord with me every step of the way!

He's still on the Throne, so what could be wrong.
Let the angry winds blow, let the stormy seas roll.
I'm reminded today, thank God I am saved.
Salvation's sweet song, while the ages roll on.
He's still on the Throne!!!

Psalm 34:3

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3

Truly the Lord is good! We got a call from the doctor tonight about 5:30pm, after anxiously waiting all day. The tumors in Silas' arm and leg are GONE!
The doctor called the radiologist to confirm this before he called and told us, and he wouldn't let the nurse tell me the news. He said he wanted to be the one to tell me.
Praise The Lord! He also said the tumors in his head were at least back down to the size they were back in May, when we discovered them. And the tumor in his abdomen looks smaller too!

Here's Silas wrestling with his "Uncle Tim" as he calls his deer! People ask me frequently how's he feeling? How's he acting? I have to say, like a normal two year old. The other day I caught him jumping off the school desk, diving into a pile of blankets! He's all boy and has no idea there's anything wrong with him!

To everyone who is praying, I say Thank you again.
Your prayers mean much to us!
God Is Still On The Throne!!!
