This is me & and my brother, James. We took the children to Georgia Aquarium and my brothers family went with us, his wife, Carrie, and daughter, Alyssa (who is Josiah's age). The lake across the road was frozen over, and I walked out on it a few times. I let Josiah walk out with me the one time, but not very far.The children are petting stingrays and baby hammerhead sharks. Here we are petting the horseshoe crabs, star fish and pincushions (how so you pet those??).This is the big tunnel aquarium. We walk through and the huge whale sharks, and goliath groupers swim over head, along with lots of others. This room where the children are all sitting is where we seem to sit the longest. There are so many different animals swimming around that its hard to get bored. Enormous stingrays, and mantas, the list goes on and on..
Right where I needed them, in a cage!!! :)Stonewall was so cute sitting by the penguins!!!And some nice man offered to take the picture so that I could be in it! Wasn't that sooo nice! And here is me out on the frozen lake. So, for anyone who watched the news this night, yes, the night I'm on this lake, I have to make a few points. First off, if you didn't watch the news, this same day three boys in a different subdivision on a different lake fell in. Two didn't make it out. That being said, 1.I am only 1 small person, not 3 big boys. 2.I did not play on the ice, I was very careful and watched for cracking. 3.I was not out in the middle. That being said, Nick and James were not all that happy with me, since they didn't think it was the brightest idea to start with. =) Maybe next time I'll try it where it freezes a little harder!
